Holy Cow Commissary & Ghost Kitchen

HC Commissary and Ghost Kitchens is a professional, fully licenced commissary and ghost kitchen for commercial foodservice operators. Our community of kitchen partners includes restaurants, cafes, caterers, bakers, food trucks, food producers, manufacturers and many more.

LOCATION

We are conveniently located at 855 Terminal Avenue in Vancouver, less than 5 minutes drive to Downtown Vancouver. We offer 24 hour access, and a modern, clean facility which is fully inspected and licenced.

Our Services

Our members have the option to choose an hourly, part-time, or full-time membership. Our well-equipped commercial kitchen is available for our members to use on a reserved basis. We offer large shared or private prep station work areas, gas stoves, combination and convection ovens, deep fryers, commercial mixer and a variety of additional food preparation equipment for use by our partners while on site. We provide our members access to dry, refrigerated and freezer storage, easy online booking, billing, and competitive all-inclusive prices.

As the coronavirus pandemic and government mandates continue to evolve, we have seen a paradigm shift in how consumer preferences have increased using online grocery shopping and food delivery services.

The online food delivery options such as SkipTheDishes, Door Dash, and Uber Eats are now the mainstream norm which will continue to grow in demand.

We expect restaurants will be unable to maintain their level of service to their dine-in customers while fulfilling the demands of food delivery. Mark Cuban has been a strong proponent that restaurant businesses need to rethink their workflows. The solution is to contact Holy Cow and establish a Ghost kitchen or virtual kitchen.

WHAT IS A GHOST KITCHEN?

Ghost kitchen are restaurants without the dining space, focus solely on online food delivery. HC Commissary offers the space and equipment necessary to allow you to operate your virtual restaurant business.

Prep Stations

We offer large prep stations (shared or private) as well as a separate station for washing and prep of vegetables.

Baking and Cooking

Members have access to commercial mixer, two commercial six burner gas stove, countertop gas griddle, two deep fryers, dual stock pot range, combination oven as well as a double convection oven.

Storage, Refrigeration and Freezing

Our facility features a large walk-in refrigerator and a commercial freezer. Members have access to secured dry storage lockers. We can accommodate dry pallet storage.

Pricing

We have several pricing options available for our members.

Part Time Night – $1,450 per month (20 hours a week)
Part Time Day – $1,550 per month (20 hours a week)
Full Time Night – $2,700 per month (40 hours a week)
Full Time Day – $2,900 per month (40 hours a week)
Semi-Private Station - $5,500 per month (24/5 Monday-Friday)
Exclusive Private Station - $6,200 per month (24/7 exclusivity)

Our pricing is all
inclusive which includes:

Access all kitchen (subject to reservation and availability),
2 dry storage shelving
2 cooler storage shelving
1 freezer storage shelve.

All clients must have their own insurance and food safe level 1.

We start all our partnerships by having potential members complete a Membership information form. We will than schedule an initial interview and tour of the facility so you can determine whether our kitchen suits your needs, and we can assess our ability to serve you. Required Documentation

All our members are required to have the following up-to-date documents and certifications on file with us to access the kitchen:

A valid business licence with the City of Vancouver.

A food service permit from Vancouver Coastal Health.

A food safe level 1 certification. 

Food safety plan

Certificate of commercial general liability insurance with Holy Cow Foods Inc listed as an additionally insured. Any other certificates required for your business.
